The band was founded in 1986 to provide a musical outlet for high school and college musicians in non-music careers to continue playing their instruments simply for the love of music and especially Big Band Jazz. Since those humble beginnings, the group has attracted top-level amateur and professional musicians resulting in outstanding musical quality over a broad and varied repertoire, without sacrificing our passion for playing and performing this great music! We have performed at countless weddings, private parties, corporate functions and clubs over that past 23 years, including the Wichita Jazz Festival, the Richardson Wildflower Festival, and the Toyland Ball and the Dance With Me dance studio in Plano. In 2004, we were honored to be selected as the musical entertainment for NTSU Jazz Department founder Leon Breeden's 80th Birthday Party held at Sammons Hall in Dallas.
